Damage Surveys
Damage surveys are carried out exclusively at the request of insurance companies. The interventions cover the entire Spanish Mediterranean coast as well as the Balearic Islands.
All of our interventions are conducted in strict accordance with the principles of independence, impartiality, and objectivity, which guarantee the credibility and probative value of our findings. Assignments are carried out free from any conflict of interest, and all collected information, analyses performed, and reports prepared are handled with the utmost confidentiality.
The survey reports are written according to a rigorous methodology, based on technical analysis of the facts, examination of material and documentary evidence, as well as assessment of the circumstances surrounding the occurrence of the damage. Their purpose is to provide a precise and well‑reasoned description of the observed damage, its probable causes, and its consequences, within a framework that conforms to accepted maritime surveying practices and insurance law requirements.
Designed to be legally enforceable, our reports serve as technical reference documents that can be submitted in contractual, amicable, or litigation contexts. They are intended to inform the contracting parties, their advisors, insurers, and, where applicable, the competent authorities, providing a reliable, objective, and usable basis for the assessment and settlement of damage claims.
